13 reasons why based on the novel by Jay Asher this show has been hugely popular and also very controversial . Because of its sensitive subject matter season focuses on a high schooler who choose to end her life and looks back at all of the events that brought her to that decision to suicide.
This drama looks at many of the difficult issues that teens are facing today through a dramatic lens giving us characters that we can’t help but feel for as we watch them navigate the hell that high school.

On My Block :
On my block is an comedy drama which has got to be one of the most underrated teen shows that Netflix has been aired. It despite holding a 95 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes many people haven’t heard of on my block which tells the story of four young people growing up in the diverse area of South Central Los Angeles.
We seemed on the show that say Ruby Jamal and Cesar starting their high school years off together and face all the difficulties that typical teens do along with the issues they encounter because of living in an under privileged.

Never Have I Ever :
This series seems to have arrived at exactly the right moment. Executive produced by none other than Mindy Kaling. I am so glad that in 2020, we have a show, where Indians in America are represented as we are. No crappy whitewashed version unlike every other show you have seen.
Never have I ever series about girl name Davey Vishwa Kumar a young Indian American girl living in modern LA her father suddenly died shortly before action of the show begin and in her grief she temporarily lost her use of her legs leaving he alone ,on wheelchair-bound.
This show is undeniably a comedy but it also having a lots of heart taking us through Davey grieving period which she has been facing whether she likes it or not. Last episode made me cry (big tears rolling down) – especially the part where Devi reunites with her family and the mother chants the Shloka from Bhagavad Gita about never ending nature of the soul.

Elite the fact that it’s a Spanish language production scare you off there is a reason this thriller teen drama is so high on our list. The exclusive private school and 3 lower-income teens who some how find themselves attending elite is not just a typical high school show but also an murder mystery.
This drama not only include the lot of more political issues like diversity and xenophobia. While you can watch this show in Castilian Spanish dubbed over with English I really recommend you to try it with subtitles to be able to hear the original dialogue in series.
Every single detail about Elite is well written, casts are perfect. It is amazing how little things eventually leads to other little things that finally makes the big picture. It is perfect how they show us the present then the past and so on , it just makes the viewers confuse and more anxious for more, it keeps the mystery alive.

The part of this show that grabs people’s attention is the protagonist Sam, a boy on the autism spectrum who is learning to become more independent. As someone on the spectrum myself, even if I don’t experience it the same way Sam does, it does an amazing job showing life through the eyes of a person with autism, and the actor nails it.
This show is much more than Sam’s journey, however. This shows the story of his family, his friends, his therapist, and all of the stories are separate yet completely intertwined. Atypical brilliantly tells multiple stories at once and every single episode builds on every single story, and this is what got me addicted to the show.
What’s even more beautiful about this show is how it brilliantly walks the line of foreshadowing future events while keeping the events a complete surprise. After re watching the series multiple times, there were hints of foreshadowing in all of the episodes that went completely over my head when I watched at first, and this led to that amazing “Something’s going to happen but I don’t know what” feeling that amazing shows bring.
